This started annoying me about twenty minutes ago, so I thought I’d write about it to express my discontent with the constant sharing that every app seems to do these days. To disable this annoying function without entirely disconnecting from Facebook, go to Spotify > Preferences in the menu bar. Scroll down to Facebook and uncheck “Get personal recommendations…”
Voila! Now, stop annoying your Facebook friends and get back to the music.
